This week of hiking in the salty Atlantic breezes is an opportunity to discover the peaceful rural villages and the wild beauty of the coasts with their long beaches and plunging cliffs. We walk barefoot in the sandy banks of the ocean and the evenings are spiced by the fish tajines served under the stars. This singular experience is well worth it! Small groups of waders, sandpipers, and stone curlews peck at the sand and gannets play in the ocean spray. With a little luck it is possible to see the dark Eleonora's falcon; this trek is ideal for bird lovers. The spring flowers burst forth with colors all along the coast. Argania trees, known for the production of argan oil are prevalent. We will visit the small port city of Essaouira, formerly known as Mogador, which lies hidden behind its white ramparts. You will enjoy many wonderful moments with our local team; the Berbers of Ait and Haha are legendary for their kindness and hospitality.
This voyage can also be combined with a trek by horseback.
