This performance oriented trek will bewitch hikers who are at home in the mountains and prefer more vigorous days of walking. We will explore several Berber valleys of savage beauty. Most of the hiking is on ancient mule paths, but we will also quit the trails to climb up to the passes. The culmination of the trek is the ascension of Jbel Toubkal at 4168m. Morocco is a country of many contrasts just steps away from Europe. The rapid change of scene starts with the first evening. First we'll stop in the well-known Djemma El Fna Place in Marrakech and continue on with a visit to the dazzling palace; these splendors blend in perfectly with the magnificent villages and people of the beautiful Haut-Atlas.
